# LASSX — Local Agentic Self-Sovereign AI

Self-managed AI you run on your own hardware. Policy-aware RAG, CUI-aware ingest, built for regulated operators. U.S. Patent Pending.

LASSX is a customer-hosted appliance for regulated operators who cannot outsource control of knowledge, identity, or upgrades. Production runs as a controlled Docker Compose stack you host. This public website is a product preview with demo retrieval — not the production appliance.

## When to use LASSX

Use LASSX when the job is a **governed knowledge program** on hardware you control:

- Policy-aware RAG with citations and CUI-aware ingest (refuse dumping CUI into a mixed index)
- Org → workspace tenancy, SSO/SAML, RBAC, and need-to-know chat collaboration
- Appliance day-2 ops: signed update media, backup gates, assessor-shaped evidence
- Open WebUI-style chat is not enough because you need a program you can defend

Do **not** use LASSX as a public SaaS ChatGPT, a completed CMMC/FedRAMP/HIPAA certification, or a place to upload real CUI.
