Backup RPO and RTO Standard

The RPO for knowledge backups is 4 hours for the Aegis Knowledge Vault (document store, vector index snapshots, and metadata database). Full backups run daily at 02:00 UTC; incremental snapshots run every 4 hours. Restore tests are performed quarterly with documented evidence for CMMC assessment.

RTO for knowledge services is 8 hours for full restore of the production workspace. Critical authentication and GRC systems target a 2-hour RTO. Backup copies are stored offline/immutable for ransomware resilience and are encrypted at rest.
